BETTY FRITH August 30, 1922 - December 1, 2017 Peacefully at age 95, surrounded by family, mom (grandma, gigi) left us to be with her beloved Don, who has been patiently waiting in Heaven since 2007 for the love of his life to join him. Born in 1922, mom spent most of her life in Winnipeg. She and dad began dating in 1938 and married in 1947. Starting their life together in Winnipeg, they lived in a number of cities in both the US and Canada over the years before returning to Winnipeg for good in 1984. Mom was a devoted mother and wonderful homemaker, who will always be remembered for her infectious smile and sunny disposition. Predeceased by her parents, siblings and husband, Don. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Leigh (Tony) Nanton, Scott, Craig (Dianne); grandchildren, Kristen (Renald), Kevin (Maarika), Nicole, Julie, Valerie (Dan); great-grandchildren, Paige, Logan, Kaitlin, Noah, Maija, Trae, Bryson, Andre and Nina. She will also be missed by extended family and friends. We are especially grateful for the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Golden Door Geriatric Centre over the past two and one-half years. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. Mom, Grandma, Gigi, we love you.
