My husband Emile and I would like to extend to the entire Loewen family our most sincere condolences. In particular to Mrs. Loewen, Val, Greg, Brent and all his many grandchildren. We understand the pain of losing the most important person in your life. Mr Loewen was always very friendly and kind to me. From the 1st time Val and I met in grade 1 & all thru the years. I will always remember his huge shining smile as he worked or maybe I should say played out in his beautiful backyard garden, With his lifelong best friend and beautiful wife Mrs. Loewen always by his side. Those happy days are the ones I will always remember of Mr. Loewen. As life is, we lost touch for a while, but Val and I always found a way to stay in touch. Val would keep me updated on how the family was doing. I was so saddened to learn of Mr. Loewen's illness and passing. I will always remember him with his huge smile and deep laugh. He was a World War II HERO, who helped to free the Dutch, & I personally will always honor him in my heart for his service to our country at such an early age!! Mr. Loewen was a Gentleman and a HERO, thank you Mr. Loewen for everything you accomplished. I will remember you always. - Posted by: Janet Harrow-Courcelles (Friend) on: Dec 05, 2017
