JULIANNA (JULIA) FUZ (nee KUKLICA) November 4, 1922 - December 7, 2017 On December 7, 2017 Julia passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge, at the age of 95 years after suffering a lengthy illness with dementia. She was predeceased by husband Stefan; her three brothers, Steve, George, and Frank and one sister Clara. Left to mourn her passing are her two sons, Steven (Jean) of St. Andrews, MB, and Percy (Beverly) of Arborg, MB; daughter Julia (Patrick) of Arborg, MB; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and also her brother John. Julia arrived in Canada at the age of 6 with her parents from Czechoslovakia and they homesteaded in Poplarfield, MB where she established many dear friends through her kind and loving nature. Julia's unconditional love for her family was very important to her in her lifestyle. Our world definitely was a better place because of her love and she will remain an inspiration to all of usher children in particular. She was a farm homemaker for many years - with a passion for gardening, cooking, sewing, and doing various farm chores. She also had a passion for dancing. She was also proud of growing up in a rural setting that did not include many modern day conveniences that we take for granted today. The family wishes to extend appreciation for the care and compassion extended to Julia by the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
