Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • To Yvonne, Michelle and Jeannette our most heartfelt sympathies. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Having lived in Lorette all these years and having been neighbours of your family growing up, Andre and I saw your Dad quite frequently and he was always a joy to meet and visit with. Andre remembers some of the inventions your Dad came up with from snowmobiles, little Kitty Cat Dozers, planes etc. Your Dad was a very special man. We will remember him fondly. - Posted by: Andre and Gisele Gobeil (friends of the family) on: Dec 19, 2017

  • On behalf of the Taché Fire Department, I offer my condolences to Odile and Roméo's family. Roméo dedicated 32 years as fire chief of the department, establishing it in Lorette in 1960. With a limited budget he was able to purchase a fire truck and equipment needed to protect the municipality's property owners from fire. During his tenure, he also established fire halls in Landmark and Ste. Geneviève to further protect the residents of the RM of Taché. Thank you for dedicating your time and making the commitment to the fire department. As a 15 year member of the department, I know how many birthdays parties, family events and other important occasions you missed and the many times you were woken up to emergencies missing out on valuable sleep to protect the municipality's people and property. I tip the brim of my helmet to you Roméo, Thank you. René Gougeon District Fire Chief, Lorette Hall Taché Fire Department - Posted by: Tachè Fire Department () on: Dec 12, 2017
