Doris Mary lived at 522 Hartford Avenue with her parents, Stephan and Lena (Stekke) Dobrinsky and her four brothers and four sisters. She was married at the age of 24 to Thomas Clark Jr. on July 26, 1947, at St. Giles Church. Her first job was as a cleaner for Jacob and Crowley, where she cleaned uniforms for the Armed Forces during the Second World War. She then worked at Eaton's mail order warehouse as an order clerk (because of her lovely hand writing). She worked her way up to private secretary for the manager of "Red Dog" bargain store. Her last job was for the Hudson's Bay house advertising department where she worked as head proofreader. Doris also volunteered at a day care part-time for three years before retiring at the age of 60. Doris is predeceased by her husband Thomas and all of his family; her father Stephan and mother Lena; her brothers, John, Stephen, William and Fred; her sisters, Evelyn, Ann, Mabel and Eleanor; and other relatives. She will be missed and loved by her many remaining relatives and friends who were touched by her helpfulness and generosity. (Psalm 103:11) For as the Heavens are high above the Earth so great are his mercy and loving kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear him (as you have done all your life). Amen. "Love you, my mother, always and forever." Private reception after interment.
