MEMORY POND
Born: Nov 09, 1964
Date of Passing: Nov 30, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMEMORY RENEE POND November 9, 1964 - November 30, 2017 It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my wife, Memory Pond, on November 30, 2017. Memory had just turned 53 and had recently gone into Riverview Health Centre, after an incredibly brave and graceful battle with cancer. It was in their wonderful care that she spent the last 11 days of her life. She passed peacefully, while I stroked her hair and her children held her. Memory was firm in not wanting any type of funeral or gathering after she passed. I recently sat with her and asked her one more time if she wanted any type of service. Her answer, which I later wrote down and still have in my wallet, summed up her humility and her sense of perspective on life. 'No service,' she told me. 'People will know I was here.' They sure will, Mem. Friends and relatives are encouraged to share in a photo-tribute, stories and condolences for the family by visiting Memory's memorial page at IntegrityDeathCare.com. For some reason Memory just popped into my mind today so I googled her to see how she was doing and was so sad to see her obituary. I only worked with her for a couple of years at the City in the late 80's but I remember her as a very kind classy lady, I very much enjoyed working with her, So sorry for your loss. Gone too soon but she shone brightly while she was here - Posted by: Suzanne Gross (nee Walton) (Work colleague) on: Jun 05, 2025

To Memory’s family. So sorry to hear of your loss. Memory will be sorely missed by friends, colleagues and family. Treasure the memories; I’m sure there are lots to bring a smile to your face and lean on family and friends during the tough times.
