Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ALLARD George Allard, born December 8, 1956, passed away peacefully after his battle with ALS on December 14, 2017, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 61. George is survived by his special companion Marion; children Christine (Robbie), grandkids Tyson, Ellyanna, Haddie, Bailee, Dakota (Michelle), grandkids Matthias, Daxton, Devan, grandchild Svenna. Stepchildren Allana (Billie), grandkids Brayden and Haleigh, Keith and Kevin; his siblings Alexandre (Cathy), Gilberthe, Florence, Gilles Jr. (Dawna), Paul (Denise), Loretta, Noël (Edna), Noeline, Harold (Velma), Jean (Tracy) and Janet. He also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, co-workers, friends and dear close friend Cowie. He was predeceased by his parents Gilles Allard, Laurette (née Coutu), brother-in-law Hugh, nephews Shane and Steven. A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 17, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Laurent Recreation Centre. Request, in lieu of flowers please, donations can be made to ALS Society. Thanks to St Boniface Hospital staff for their care, along with local caregivers. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
