HENRY JERRY SCHROEDER September 30, 1961 - December 14, 2017 On December 14, 2017, the world lost a great man. He left with strength and dignity, having said "I love you" to his whole family. Henry Jerry Schroeder was born on September 30, 1961 to John and Susan Schroeder. He married his best friend on August 8, 1986. Kim was the love of his life. Their children will always remember them dancing in the kitchen together on Sunday mornings. They spent 31 beautiful years together, and he said that if he could have had another 31 years with her on a deserted island that would be bliss for him. In those 31 years they had three children and one grandchild. Left to forever miss him are his wife, Kim; children, Cody (Dipti), Megan (Max) and Jordan; and his one-year old grandson, Darius. Left to also miss him are too many friends and family to name individually. Thank you to Dr. Sharma and the team at St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on January 7, 2018 at the Domain Hall in Domain, MB. "Goodbye and we love you." Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • We are coming on a year since we lost you. I have spend many hours thinking about you. It was hard for me to try to fulfill the promise I made you . I am SORRY if I have failed you, but I did try to keep my promise. The problem was that I never had your skills. SO I AM SORRY. I think of you often and smile when I think of your passions in so many of the conversations and projects that we did together. YOU ARE ALWAYS MISSED AND FOREVER LOVED My friend. - Posted by: Phil Schroeder (Brother) on: Dec 12, 2018

  • Dear Kim, I just wanted to say how sorry I was when I heard of the passing of your husband Henry. You don't know me but I heard about it as your daughter Jordan is in my son Carson's class. My husband Kelly passed away in October and it is so tremendously difficult to lose your life partner, your best friend, someone you shared kids with and dreams and everything really. I hope you can get through the days and months ahead. Stay strong for the kids and I hope your memories of your husband can bring you smiles and warmth into your heart. We are thinking of you. - Posted by: Christine Kabernick and family () on: Jan 23, 2018

  • We are so profoundly sorry to hear of Henry's passing. He was a consummate craftsman, and true gentleman. During the course of several projects he undertook for us he became a friend. We admired his flare for design, his endless patience, cheerful nature and practical advice. He was always ready for a chat and a laugh. He was so proud of his family and that was his favorite subject of conversation. Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you. The world has lost a very special man. - Posted by: Helen and Ian Page (friend) on: Jan 16, 2018
