RONALD ARTHUR LANDRY December 4, 1938 - December 7, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Arthur Landry on December 7, 2017 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Left behind to miss Ronald are his children, Thor (Laura) and Christine (Humphrey), and his beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Sabrina Landry. Although our hearts are heavy, we are comforted to know he has been reunited with his beloved wife Sharon, who passed away in 1981. Ronald was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As one of seven children, Ron learned early the importance of hard work and helping your family. This trait continued throughout Ron's life, as he married and had a family of his own. He worked long hours in support of his family, much of his career as a salesperson and driver for McGavin's Bread. He instilled in his children a love of travel and the outdoors. Many of Christine and Thor's most cherished childhood memories are of family camping trips with grandparents, aunts and uncles throughout Manitoba, as well as trips in the camper farther afield. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Ron's wishes, a private family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their thanks to Yolanda Yeung from Care-At-Home Pharmacy for her expert assistance during the last year, as well as the paramedics who accompanied Ron to the hospital and the staff on the third floor of the Grace Hospital for their kindness during Ron's last days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
