AIME BOISSELLE 1921 - 2017 Grandpa lived his 96 years to the fullest, always enjoying life and remaining in the family home that he built until his passing on Monday, December 11, 2017. Left to cherish Aime's memory are his sons Kevin and Tracy (Kathy); daughter-in-law, Pauline; grandchildren Kris (Jen), Kasey (Karyn), Michelle (Brent) and Carly (Whitt); as well as six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Lillian, and son, Kerry. Aime had a rewarding career as District Fire Chief with the St. Boniface Fire Department. He was an amazing talent. His creativity and expert carpentry skills led to building kitchen cabinets and custom furniture pieces with his dad, and later accessories such as lamps and decorative bowls that were coveted by everyone. Aime loved to tell stories, had an incredible sense of humour, and was never hesitant about letting everyone know what his religious and political beliefs were. He was also a wonderful gardener, golfer, woodworker, and a generous neighbour. In compliance with Aime's wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Connie Andrade, who cared for him for the last four years. She made every day special, and made it possible for him to remain in his home. For that, we will forever be grateful. We would also like to sincerely thank his friend and neighbour, Agnes Casper, who faithfully cared for both Lillian and Aime for so many years. Agnes was always there for them, and they were so fortunate to have her bring them her delicious Sunday dinners. You are the best neighbour that anyone could ask for, Agnes, and we thank you. Kasey & Kris, We were sorry to hear of your Grandfather's passing. We never met him, but of course heard all about him from Kerry, who was very proud of him. Sincere condolences, Gail & Larry McFadden, West Vancouver & New Zealand - Posted by: Gail & Larry McFadden () on: Jan 28, 2018

Rob grew up across the back lane from the Boiselles and then again, during the early years of our marriage. We really enjoyed their company and their interest in our children. We benefitted from Aime's expert carpentry skills, when we bartered, Rob painted the inside of their house and in exchange Aime built our kitchen cabinets. Some of my best recipes come from Mme Boiselle, and their garden made us jealous. The roses were spectacular. We're happy that Aime was able to stay in his home. Please accept our condolences.
