MARY CHIKOWSKI It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother/grandmother/great-grandmother on December 14, 2017, at St. Joseph's Residence, at the age of 95 years. Mom is survived by sons, Barry (Marilyn) and Wayne (Linda), grandson Anthony, granddaughter Christie (Brian) and great-grandchildren, Tanner and Anders. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Tony, parents, Anastasia and Stephen, and brothers, Walter and Harold. Amongst her fondest memories were travelling with Dad on many trips to Hawaii, the train journey through the Rockies to Vancouver, California and Disneyland, and Niagara Falls. Although Mom never had pets of her own, a regular visit from Spottie to her home on Galloway and later Jasper to St. Joseph's always brought a smile to her face and a little giggle. Thank you to Dr. Babick and the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for their care, compassion and sincere kindness and sympathy towards Mom. In accordance with Mom's wishes, a private, immediate family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
