WILHELM JANZEN Peacefully, in his sleep, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, Wilhelm went to be with his Lord and Saviour whom he loved and served all his life. Left to cherish his memory are his brother Victor Janzen (Helen), and his sister Elisabeth Janzen, as well as nieces and nephews and their families. Willie's focus in life were his faith, proclaiming that faith to the world and helping those in need which took him to places in Cuba, Philippines, India and Africa. He also worked as a carpenter building homes in Winnipeg with his brother Victor. His family was important to him; his years before the onset of Alzheimer's were spent caring for his sister Elisabeth. Willie had a heart of gold. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB with interment following in Glen Eden Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at River East Personal Care Home for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Willie's memory to MCC or Lighthouse Mission.
