Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH L. KERR Ken Kerr passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday December 27, 2017. Ken was born in Winnipeg on July 19, 1933 and lived his entire life in Winnipeg. Ken took a job with Canada Safeway while in high school and joined full time upon graduation. After a short stint with Great West Life, Ken returned to Safeway where he became a meat manager for his remaining working career. Ken enjoyed sports and watched with great interest his Bombers and Jets. Ken had two passions in his life, his family and his faith. Ken has missed his wife Cathy greatly over the past six years since her passing in 2011. Ken was a member of Sherwood Park Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Ken leaves behind his son Gerry (Suzanne); three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael (Shana), Jenna Hesse (Chad); and two great-grandchildren, Kensington and Holt Hesse. Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church, at 11:00 a.m., with viewing at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jason Zinko officiating. My sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your father and grandfather. Gary and I always enjoyed seeing and talking to Ken and Cathy at family gatherings. They were so proud of you all.
