• Rita was such a joy to be with, I will truly miss her. We enjoyed are walks and playing shuffleboard and darts. We also like to go for happy hour where she live and had are ginger ale and chips. I am glad to say that I was glad to have the chance to no her and listen to her wonderful story's about her two husbands and her family. • We have been extremely fortunate to become an extension of Rita's family. Having her allow us to come into her home, to entrust her life with us was truly a memory we will never forget. Knowing her for 3 years, we were able to hear all the wonderful stories she had to share, including her late husband, her love for golf & curling and the time she spent volunteering at the Misericordia Hospital. • I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Auntie Rita. She was a lifelong friend of our family and always had time for me. I've known her all my life. I remember she took me downtown once on the bus and everyone thought we were family - two redheads having lunch at the restaurant in Eaton's! My mom counted on her friendship and for many years they were close. I didn't see her much the last few years, it seems as we age our world gets narrower and narrower. I missed her though, very much.
