Words are never adequate in moments like these. My heart go out to the entire family . I will always remember the memories that I was privileged to have in knowing Debbie through her love of volleyball. Our hearts are filled with immense sadness upon hearing of Debbie’s passing. Wallace Lake will never be the same without our dear friend. We will miss your smiling face, frequent visits, hearing about your latest wildlife observations, and, my personal favorite, discussing our beautiful flowers! Thank you for all those years of kindness, chats on our decks and docks, and for your continuous invitations to watch the Bombers at your cabin! You have played a huge role in our lives that no one else can fill. We are struggling to understand how someone so special had to leave us so soon, but are comforted in knowing that your spirit is alive and well. We will meet again. We extend our sincere condolences to Helen, Bob, and the entire Young family. Brenda and Kelly Ward - Posted by: Brenda and Kelly Ward (close friends and extended family) on: Jan 07, 2018

I'm so sorry to hear about Debbie's passing. Debbie will be missed at Wallace Lake, she was an outdoor enthusiast who loved going for walks with her dog Shelly. Debby also enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the Manitoba wilderness. I'm sure I speak for all the Wallace Lake neighbors in saying that, Debbie's visits at the lake will be much missed and summers will not be the same without her! My sincerest condolences to Bob and the entire Young family. Sincerely, Tim Garton - Posted by: Tim Garton (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2018

We are so sorry to hear of Deb's passing. There are so many great memories as kids and adults hanging out at each others parents cabins. Debbie had a real love for swimming (always the first one in the lake at the beginning of the season) and hanging out with the family on those Saturday night sing alongs. I will miss our road side chats at our cabin on her walks with mom ( Shirley) and Debra. Condolences to the whole family. We morn with you. I am so sorry to learn of Debbie’s sudden passing. I have many fond memories of her visits to our cabin at Wallace Lake and shared meals and of her working with my husband Bob at the Natural Resources in Bissett during the forest fire seasons. She was a good friend to Bob and myself. My sincere condolences to her mother Helen, partner Bob and her family.
