Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Noreen, It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about David's untimely death. My friendship with Dave started on my first day in school in 1949. We became instant friends along with Ron that year. Dave offered his hardtop car to Mary and I for our wedding in 1957 that we plastered with white flowers made from Kleenex. We will never forget him for his kindness and thoughtfulness. With great personal sorrow, I ask to share your loss and to extend my heartfelt sympathy. Sincerely, Bruno and Mary Pletz - Posted by: Bruno and Mary Pletz (Friend) on: Feb 02, 2018

  • Met Dave through the dialysis department at SOGH. Spent a few hours talking while waiting for his dialysis machine to calibrate. He was a great guy and I was very sad to hear that he had passed away. I had great respect for him and enjoyed his stories and determination. Never got that ride in his Jet boat though. I got one of the first copies of his book and have been enjoying it. I am sure he will be missed by his family and friends and I wish them all the best. - Posted by: Rob McConnell (Dialysis Tech) on: Jan 07, 2018

  • Noreen, what a special glimpse of your partner......... active nature lover. My Dad as well was a canoe enthusiast, trekking and paddling in Algonquin Park, northern Ontario. Take care, grieve and come out the other side with wonderful memories. All the best to you and you family. - Posted by: Jocelyn Kirk (Ireland travelling cohort to Noreeen) on: Jan 06, 2018
