RON ALLAN FLOWER With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Ron Allan Flower, January 2, 2018, beloved husband of Tetty Flower. Born in Miniota, MB, on March 11, 1931. He is survived by his children Randal (Lisa), Kathy (Jerry), Leanne (John Jorgenson), grandchildren: Alexis, Elodie, Cameron, Emily, Amy, Kirstin, Kayla, great grand-daughter (Anna); sisters, Shelagh, Pat, Vicki (Jack Rooney). Ron retired as a Winnipeg Firefighter in 1986 after 35 years of service. For 50 years he truly enjoyed his landscaping business. He had many passions: travels throughout Asia - arborist - gardener - oil painter - stained glass artist - builder - gospel and country music lover. Mentor - friend - loyal- curious - avid story teller - knowledgeable- determined - reliable - frank - broad minded- jokester. A private family service has taken place.   • I was sorry to hear about Ron it was always enjoyable when I had the chance to talk with him. Ron had a great sense of humour and could always give me a laugh. I was lucky enough to have Ron help when I had gardening questions and he would always have the answer. I’lI miss the jokes that Ron use to email. My condolences to Ron’s wife Tetty and his children.
