DEBORAH JANINE JAMES June 25, 1955 - January 2, 2018 In the early morning of January 2, Debbie left us to join her mother, father, and her two brothers Pete and Paul. Deb was born in Brandon, MB and moved with her family to Winnipeg when she was three years old. Upon being enrolled in grade one, she met her friend Fern and they remained close friends for Debbie's lifetime. Her education was completed within the Sturgeon Creek area of St. James. After graduation she was employed by the Misericordia Hospital and there she stayed until she retired. Throughout her years at the hospital she made many friendships. Debbie leaves behind her sister Diane (Hannu), nieces, Tara (Dave), Jenny (Bobby), Tracy, Britt and three nephews, Sean, Derek and Beau. As her nieces remained in Winnipeg, she became very close to them. Tara's children Kyra and Jordan were the light in Debbie's eyes. A private Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
