Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY LOUISE ROSS (nee HUTCHEON) January 29, 1928 - January 4, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Mary leaves to cherish in her memory, her daughter Heather (Warren); grandchildren Joshua, Justin (Kendra) and Jessica, son Douglas (Shirley); grandchildren Erin (Brett) and Courtney (Kris). She was predeceased by her husband Charlie, and all her siblings. Mary grew up in St. James where she met Charles at a Halloween party. They were married in 1947 and celebrated 48 years of marriage before his passing in 1995. Mary was an amazing seamstress and crafter who also loved to tackle the toughest crosswords in pen. Many of her favourite times were spent with her dogs. She provided advice and wise counsel to all who would listen, and was well respected by all who had the pleasure of spending time with her. A celebration of her life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on January 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Heather and Doug's MOM was very caring & talented, a special woman. I cherished the Wedding dress lacy she fashioned and her precious gifts to our sons, especially the much loved Bo-Bo the Clown soon to be enjoyed by our Grandson Sully. Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family. - Posted by: Lorna Stevens (Friend of Heather) on: Jan 20, 2018
