Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELENE MARIE LOUISE LE JEUNE (née VIGIER) March 28, 1920 - January 6, 2018 With profound sadness the family and friends announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend at Foyer Valade-Action Marguerite. Hélène was born on March 28, 1920, the youngest daughter of Lucien and Sidonie Vigier. Hélène wed Pierre Le Jeune on November 4, 1953 and they began their life in Winnipeg for two years, returning to Rathwell to raise their family. She leaves behind her son Hervé and grandchildren, Marc (Ashley) and Nicole (Gordon), and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pierre (2006), son Paul (1997), daughter-in-law Joan (2017) and all of her siblings. Hélène went out to work at an early age and worked hard all her life for her family, which was everything to her. Hélène had many family losses in her life, each loss she bore with staunch silence. We all learned much from her strength of character and no-nonsense attitude. We learned the value of hard work and what it did for our life. There are no words to describe our loss, but in her lessons we must find the strength she taught us. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg, MB with Father Armand Le Gal o.m.i. presiding. Nos sincères condoléances Hervé et famille. We had such a good visit with your Mom last spring. She made us laugh even teasing Dad about past stories.
