We were so sorry to hear about Louise’s passing. Our family has some wonderful memories of Louise. Joe always enjoyed his visits to the house and barn when he was young. As well as later, when he started his first job at The Ammeter Farm. Louise would always come out to the barn or invite him back to the house for sandwiches, milk & cookies. Kim enjoyed volunteer events with Louise, especially the ones at Phoenix School. When Jesse & Tyler were younger they also enjoyed visits to the farm to see the baby calves and kittens. Louise always had great stories to share and was knowledgeable on many subjects. She was a great neighbour and will be missed. Sincere condolences to the Ammeter family. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time. Louise made such a difference to myself and many children who attended the Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Her smile lit up a room and she lead classes in such interesting ways that her lessons have lasted a life time. She will be remembered as such a positive influence in the lives of so many. She will be messed but remembered fondly. - Posted by: Patty Kilgallon(Guenther) () on: Jan 11, 2018

Louise was such a wonderful asset to our Bible study group. She loved Jesus so much and had such a keen mind and great discernment when studying the Scriptures. Her greatest desire and joy was to see her family following Jesus. She will be missed greatly. - Posted by: Chris Martens (Friend from the Headingley Bible study group) on: Jan 10, 2018

Louise taught Lutheran Church confirmation lessons to each of my three sisters and me. She always was the picture of Faith, intelligence and, most of all, a strong woman unafraid of sharing her thoughts & opinions. I recently talked with Louise at our Church’s 50th Anniversary banquet. After so many decades Louise still was the same warm, intelligent and bold woman she was for so many of us many years ago. Her presence and spirit will be missed. - Posted by: Karen Guenther (Friend and former student) on: Jan 10, 2018
