ROBERT MCGEACHY October 26, 1961 - January 7, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert McGeachy on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at home with his beloved wife, Lindsay and cat, Monty by his side. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to World Wildlife Fund to save an Emperor penguin or Grey wolf, two of his favourite animals. My deepest and sincerest belated condolences. Robert was my first co-worker ever (at Canadian Tire on Portage) when I arrived to Winnipeg in 1979. Then roommate (on Hamilton Ave) and eventually great buddy. As one will do from time to time, I happened to find an old address book with Geach's 😥 particulars in it. I couldn't help it I had to do a search and see how my old friend made out. I was shocked and deeply saddened to come across his obituary.
