George and I were pals starting in grade 10 when I moved to Manitou with my family. My Dad was the CPR agent. I remember Barb as a lovely girl. George and I both worked the last summer of high school for Man. Tel. System. George, Bob Owens and I all went to U. of Man. (I grad. in Mech. Eng.) We moved around a lot and never met up since, unfortunately. We did meet up with Duane in Vancouver for a brief, old-time visit. That's about it and I wish all the family the very best, Cheers, Len Walker. - Posted by: Len (Leonard) Walker (High School chum) on: Aug 14, 2021

We were so sorry to learn of George's passing. Although we only just became neighbours last spring, we would often enjoy out chats on the lawn and learning about the neighbourhood George seemed to love. He was a wonderful man. - Posted by: Chris and Crystal Dokken (Neighbours) on: Jan 15, 2018
