Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE (TED) BOMBACK January 1,1922 - January 14, 2018 Ted was born in Winnipeg, a New Year's Baby of 1922, to Gustav and Mary Bomback (nee Wildeman). There were 12 brothers and sisters in total (one died in infancy). Dad married Ida Honke on October 2, 1943 in Seven Sisters Falls, MB. To support his family, he worked various jobs and often more than one job at a time. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ida in 1987 and in 2013 by his dear friend Ann Hetter; by his brothers, Areheart Eddie (Helen), Frank (Alma), Robert (Shirley), Lawrence (Barbara) and by his sisters, Ella (Ewald) and Donita (Sam). He is survived by his children, Diane (Bill), Donald (Karen), Debora, Judith (Len), Carolyn (Bruce) and his grandchildren, Leanne, Cordell, Lindsay, Allison, Kalyn, Christopher and Kelsey; his sisters, Margaret (Ed), Ruth (Victor) and his brothers, Harold (Ruth) and Richard (Adrienne) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is already sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace Papa, you and Mum are together now and safely in the arms of Jesus. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery.) Ash interment to follow at Chapel Lawn. THEODORE (TED) BOMBACK Peacefully, on Sunday, January 14, 2018, Ted passed away at the Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 96 years. A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 22 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery) at 11:00 a.m. Longer notice to follow.
