EDMOND COURCELLES September 20, 1935 - January 13, 2018 C'est avec coeurs lourds que nous annonçons le décès de notre cher papa et grand-père. Entouré de sa famille, il nous a quitté paisiblement à l'hôpital Bethesda (Steinbach), le 13 janvier à l'âge de 82 ans. Edmond laisse dans le deuil ses quatre enfants et huit petits-enfants: Raymond (Bernadette Deptuch) et leurs deux enfants, Danielle et Gabrielle; Louise (Murray Funk) et leurs deux enfants, Gabriel et Nicholas; Paul (Catherine Ross) et leurs trois enfants, Cathérine, Kéden et Cloé; et Carole (Peter Wut) et leurs fils Lévi. Edmond sera toujours dans les coeurs aussi de ses frères, sa soeur et ses belles-soeurs: Emmanuel, Léo (Louise), Rita (Etienne Brémaud), Jeannine et Denise; ainsi que la grande famille Côté, et tous les neveux, nièces et les amis. Edmond est précédé par son épouse bien-aimée, Marie-Thérèse; sa mère et son père, Rose-Anna et Joseph-Aimé Courcelles; ses frères, Albert et Pierre; ses belles-soeurs, Lucille et Yvette; ainsi que son neveu, Luc. Edmond était un père, grand-père et époux très dévoué et aimant. Il aimait faire le jardinage et jouer avec ses chiens, Benji et Dino. Il aimait jouer aux cartes et à regarder les épisodes de wrestling. De plus, Pa jouait souvent de la musique à la maison; soit de l'accordéon ou de l'orgue. En plus, Pa adorait travailler dehors en partenariat avec ses frères Courcelles, pendant 40 ans, en agriculture, porcherie, et en commerce de machinerie agricole. On te manquera beaucoup Pépère. On t'aime gros Pa et on ne t'oubliera jamais ni ton grand sens de l'humour. Tu es dans nos coeurs pour toujours et on se revera un jour. La messe des funérailles aura lieu le samedi 20 janvier 2018 à 11h00 en l'église de Sainte-Agathe, Ste-Agathe (MB). Présentation audiovisuelleà 10h30. Un grand merci au personnel de soins à domicile du Santé Sud pour leur soutient donné. EDMOND COURCELLES It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather. Dad was surrounded by his loving family at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital when he passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018, at 82 years of age. Edmond leaves to mourn his four children: Raymond (Bernadette Deptuch) and their two children, Danielle and Gabrielle; Louise (Murray Funk) and their two children, Gabriel and Nicholas; Paul (Catherine Ross) and their three children, Cathérine, Kéden and Cloé; and Carole (Peter Wut) and their son Lévi. Pa will always remain in the hearts of his siblings and sisters-in-law: Emmanuel, Léo (Louise), Rita (Etienne Brémaud), Jeannine and Denise; as well as the extended Côté family, nephews, nieces and friends. We will miss you dearly, Edmond. Dad was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Marie-Thérèse; his parents, Joseph-Aimé and Rose-Anna Courcelles; his brothers, Albert and Pierre; his sisters-in-law; Lucille and Yvette; and his nephew, Luc. Edmond was a father, grandfather and devoted husband. Edmond loved farming and he did so with his brothers in Courcelles Farms Ltd. & Courcelles Bros. (partnership) for four decades. He enjoyed working in the garden and playing with his dogs, Benji and Dino. One of his favourite pastimes was playing music. Dad could often be heard playing the organ or accordion when visiting at the house. Pa also enjoyed playing cards or watching wrestling with his family and friends. We miss you very much, Pépère. We love you Pa and we will never forget you and your awesome sense of humour. You are always in our hearts and we look forward to seeing you again. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ste. Agathe Church, Ste. Agathe (MB). Audiovisual presentation at 10:30 a.m. We would like to thank the Southern Health staff and home care workers for their exceptional care of our father; it was greatly appreciated.
