WILLIAM (BILL) KRIEG July 23, 1925 - January 12, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Krieg. Remaining to cherish William's memory are his daughter Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and extended families. William was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen, of 65 years, his mother and father, Margaret and Christian Krieg, and his brothers and sisters. After their marriage in 1951, Bill and Kathleen farmed in the Dugald area for 40 years and Bill worked at C.N.R. for 25 years. Retiring in 1990, they moved to Kelowna, BC, for 16 years, returning to Winnipeg in 2006. The family would like to thank River East Personal Care Home for their compassionate care. A service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, #1 Hwy. East. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice in William's name.
