LEWIS ALLAN MACDONALD On Sunday, January 14, 2018, Lewis Allan MacDonald, aged 85 years, passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital. Lewis (Mac) was born in Winnipeg in 1932 and adopted and raised by his parents, Elizabeth and Alexander. At an early age, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served for five years. He soon after started working at Air Canada and later at Bristol Aerospace where he remained until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of 402 Royal Canadian Air Force Reserve Squadron for many years, a volunteer and member of the Royal Canadian Air Museum and a member of #4 Royal Canadian Legion. In the last short while, Lewis was lucky to find his birth family. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Randall), sister Thelma, brothers, Clinton and Charles, grand-daughters, Amanda (Darcy) and Kimberley as well as grandchildren, Jordan, Atlanta (Chad), Izabella, Adrianna, Elena and Roman, and great-grandchildren, Brady and Skylar. Lewis was predeceased by wife Patricia and ex-wife Wilma, parents, Elizabeth and Alexander, Donald and Jean, sister Catherine and brother Gerald. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery).
