MARGARET SHERBAN (nee SOLVASON) Peacefully, on January 16, 2018, Margaret passed away at the age of 87. She will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie (Ross) and Gary (Gloria); grandchildren, Cheryl (Scott), Greg (Lesley) and Garett. Also great-grandchildren, Nicholas Denchuk and Mason Murta. Margaret is predeceased by her parents, (Oscar and Eleanor); brothers, Gordon (Norma), Kris (Shirley), Dick (Eleanor); and husband Thomas. Margaret was born and educated in Depression era Saskatchewan. She had many fond memories of her childhood even though times were tough. In 1951, she married Tom, raising their family in several small towns along the CN railway. Margaret was an avid reader and painter. She loved curling and knitting, and sewing for her family. She enjoyed attending her son's hockey games and in later years, her grandson's and great-grandson's as well. She loved spending time with her family, including her brothers and their families, aunts, uncles and cousins. Margaret was a shy and quiet woman with a surprisingly quick wit. She will be fondly remembered by all. A private family celebration of her life will be held. seasonsfunerals.ca
