ROBERT SIDNEY FARR BOB FARR September 8, 1949 - January 13, 2018 It is with heavy hearts and tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Farr on Saturday January 13, 2018 at the age of 68. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy Farr and father Robert Farr. He will be lovingly remembered by his family; daughter Bobbi-Jean (Ed) and son Lonnie (Crystal). He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Audrey, Jackson, Colin and Theodore, his sister Jean (Darryl), brothers; Todd (Margita/Mitch), Scott (Sherry), and Paul (Keri). Sharing our grief are Jackie (Frazer) and their children Olive and Ivy. Also his many nieces and nephews Ashley, Alexander, Suzanna, Brandon, Ryan, Kristen, Kaelyn, Laurie, Sean, Benjamin, Bailey and Will. Bob had a passion for cars from a young age. Whether it was in the backyard or at the speedway, his good friend Mel was always there with him working on the next project. Bob worked for Emco Corporation (Waterworks) for many years. He was a mentor and friend to many. He always made sure people were taken care of. A stroke in 1999 took a part of him away from us, but he battled through. Although it left him with limitations...he was still a patient, supportive and understanding man. After his illness the Emco Waterworks family was very supportive. The visits from his work family for all of these years really meant a lot to him and our family. Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre (Lodge 7) for taking such great care of him for so many years. He was treated with dignity and respect. They were caregivers to him but also his friends and family. A celebration of life will be held Friday January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
