I am honoured to be able to say I knew Tom and had the pleasure of working along side him a few years ago. He was always eager to help his colleagues and offer whatever help he could to help make things easier. Tom was a private man, who didn't speak often of his personal life, but when he did it was meaningful and came from the heart. My thoughts and condolences go out to the Priestley Family and friends Rest in peace my friend, you are a great man who will forever be remembered. - Posted by: Corey Provo (Work Colleague ) on: Jan 22, 2018

I worked with Tom for over 2 years and became friends with him, often talking or arguing about the Blue Bombers and the Jets. He was a very private man but sometimes opened up and told me stories of growing up on the farm and his family life. His greatest passion was working for the zoo where he would feed and take care of the animals. He was a life guard for the city as well and told me how he saved a swimmer's life and was just glad that he was there to prevent a tragedy. His dog was always there to meet him and I think they took care of each other. She passed about a month ago and I am sure it was devastating for Tom. Tom will always be remembered and missed. - Posted by: Greg Zembik (Friend) on: Jan 20, 2018
