HANNAH STEINKE
Born: May 14, 1998
Date of Passing: Jan 17, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHANNAH STEINKE May 14, 1998 - January 17, 2018 Peacefully and comfortably sleeping next to her mom on January 17, 2018, our beautiful Hannah left us for a better place. Hannah is survived by her loving parents, Doug and Niki Steinke and her wonderful sister, Alia. Hannah was predeceased by her aunt Kimberly Steinke, her grandmother Barbara James and her cousin Erica Riedel. She will be missed by her grandparents, John and Alice Steinke, Gerry Smokal, her great-grandmother Eva Hill and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that she loved very much. Hannah was born on May 14, 1998. From that day forward, we were changed. She taught us countless lessons and made this world a better place with her happy disposition, amazing smile and contagious laugh. Although Hannah had her challenges, she lived her life on her own terms and decided when she would or would not do things. She was predictably unpredictable and whenever we thought we had figured her out, she would show us that she was just toying with us and much smarter than we could ever be. Although Hannah was only on this earth for 19 years, we take comfort in the fact that she was loved beyond measure. She was hugged and kissed and valued every day. She was a ray of sunshine in this, sometimes dark, world. We will miss her wonderful sense of humour and her need to hear the same jokes over and over and laugh as though it was the first time she heard them. There will be a celebration of Hannah's life on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at MacKenzie's Funeral Chapel in Stonewall, Manitoba. As a tribute to Hannah's love for pyjamas, the family asks that you feel free to wear your comfiest pair. It's not mandatory, but Hannah would have loved it. Thank you to our family and friends that have held us up when we thought we couldn't stand anymore. A special thanks to Dr. Maharaj for bringing her into this world and for his ongoing care. We'd also like to thank the EMTs for all they did. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall 204-467-2525 info@mackenziefh.com
