THEODORE (TED) JONASSON The Jonasson family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, Dad, and Afi on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Portage Hospital at the age of 74 years. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lynne; their sons Kory (Tamara) and Bob (Jennifer) and grandchildren Shay, Dallas, Riley and Reid. He was born in the Portage Hospital on May 23, 1943 and was raised in the Big Point District where he farmed until his passing. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Halla Jonasson; sister Snjolaug Armstrong and niece Kimberlee Jonasson. Left to mourn his passing are brothers Bill (Dot) and Ralph (Margaret) and brother-in-law Jim Armstrong; also nieces and nephews Dawna, Chris, Kevin, Larry, Ryan and Jenny and their families. He will be missed by many cousins, friends and neighbours. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Langruth Community Hall on February 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please give a special person an extra hug today.
