Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION SHIRLEY BILYK (nee VERNER) September 24, 1927 January 15, 2018 Peacefully at Grace General Hospital, on Monday, January 15, 2018 Marion went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Marion was predeceased by her husband Stanley Bilyk, of 50 years, her grandson Joshua Kirton, and by her two sisters, Marjory Buckle and Barbara Mollison, and brother Gordon Verner. Left to cherish Marion's memory is her daughter Shirley Burton (Dan), grandchildren Tim and Kristy Burton, Carolyn & Mark Johnson, and Stephen Burton, her daughter Susan Kirton (Jeff), Marshall and Lisa Kirton, all of Winnipeg, Melissa and Steve Nunes, Veronica and David Green all of Edmonton, AB. Marion also had eight loving great-grandchildren. Sister Gail Varty (Gary) of Winnipeg, Bob Verner (Christine) of Calgary, and niece Sharon Buckle of Winnipeg as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Pastor Arden Boville officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB-Manitoba Division, Guide Dog Program in Marion's name. Dear Shirley and Susan and families, My deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. For all of my life I will remember hiding under your kitchen table drying dishes, trying to fool your Mom. I think you did it so you didn't have to do them! Your mother always knew and she'd say, "is that Tricia Jones under the table"? Could never fool her!
