Val- I have memories of you at Riverview, and saw the love and care you showed Murray. It was good to see his smile. The memories and good family will help you through this time. The stars at night will be Murray looking at you, his will be the brightest. Take care , Toni. - Posted by: Toni Brothers (Friend) on: Feb 19, 2018

Dear Val and family, Our condolences for your loss. Art Strong, my dad, mentioned Murray many times over the years. I remember when you and Murray visited us in Vancouver. Irene, Betty, and I were around 9 or 10 years old. (I am now 67) Val , you played jacks with me and I thought that was just great! My daughter Holly and her family, drove across Canada and visited you one summer. I wanted them to visit you in Winnipeg on their way, from Vancouver to Nova Scotia. Dear Val and Family, As you know, Murray was a brother to my Dad, Reg Dobie. They knew each other since they were young boys - I believe at the age of 8 years old. Murray is like an Uncle to me (Val, Auntie) and he was always part of my life since I was born. I have so many wonderful memories, thank you Murray. Please take care and I wish you peace and comfort. Sincerely, Michelle Dobie - Posted by: Michelle Dobie (Family friend) on: Feb 01, 2018

My dad is the kindest most honorable man I know. He was a loyal husband to my mom, a terrific father to his 3 children ( David, Ken and Lauren) and his grandchildren adoured him . Isabella and Samantha his 2 grandchildren in Australia loved their "papa" Dad. I know you are still here you have just transitioned to the next stage of life. I look forward to when we can be together again. Thank you for being a great man and the wisdom you shared with me over the years. Thank you to Riverview for looking after my dad over these long and trying years - Posted by: david strong (son) on: Jan 28, 2018
