Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH DESROCHER Sadly we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Desrocher, on January 22, 2018 at the age of 93. Ruth is survived by her daughter-in-law Cathy Desrocher, of Terre Haute, Indiana; three grandchildren, Lindsay (Tim) Frohnapple, Ben Desrocher, Carly Desrocher; and four great-grandsons, Mason and Reid Frohnapple, and Donovan and Theodore Desrocher. Also surviving is a special niece Kathie (Brian) McGann and family, of Calgary, David (Bev) Embury and family, of Edmonton, several family members in Ontario, and lifelong friend of 90 years, Rene Gordon. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Ben Desrocher (September 1987); daughter Valerie (August 2012); and son Van (November 2012); sisters, Beatrice and Phyllis; brother Hugh; and a niece Allyson Fusco. Ruth was born on October 24, 1924 in Belmont, Manitoba to George Albert and Jennie Ruth Phillips. Ruth retired from the Bank of Montreal after 30 years of service. Ruth will be fondly remembered as a loyal friend and for her amazing attitude conquering life's challenges, a good sense of humour and a style of her own.
