ALBERT LAWRENCE MILLER 1931 - 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Lawrence Miller on January 24, 2018 at the age of 86 years, at the Grace General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Caroline Miller; his sister Ella Cook and his three Godchildren, Gary (Colleen) Cook, James (Milka) Kopp and Crystal (Jerry) Wolfe; along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws and other nephews, nieces and family members who loved him very dearly. Albert was born on the family farm near Moosehorn, MB on November 9, 1931, the youngest of five children and grew up farming. He moved to Winnipeg as a young man and married Caroline on June 26, 1964. Albert began his career working in pest control, first for Charles Reiss and Co. and then he ended up buying the business and changing the name to Albert Miller Pest Control. We are forever thankful for Albert and Caroline's hospitality. They were always willing to host family events, welcoming family and friends over for a meal or opening their spare bedroom for anyone who needed to spend the night. He always had a story to share with you or a funny song to sing. He was a gentle, kind and wonderful man. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by so many. Thanks to the great staff on 4 South at the Grace Hospital for the wonderful care you gave to him. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Canadian Lutheran World Relief or to CancerCare Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at Lion's Manor, 320 Sherbrook Street on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
