Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES PEITJE FABER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Frances (Froukje) Faber, on January 31, 2018, at the age of 85, (after a brief illness). She was predeceased by her husband Harmen, and their son Greg. She is survived by three sons Rodger (Regina), Kenn and Bruce; 11 grandchildren, as well as one brother Kees (Reina), and three sisters, Leny (Ed), Nellie (Kees) and Janni (Klaas) who reside in the Netherlands. Frances and her husband immigrated to Canada in 1956 and she worked as a nurse at the Misericordia Hospital for many years. Through her life, and upon retirement, Mom travelled extensively throughout Canada, Africa, and Europe, but her favourite destinations were the homes of her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, which will be preceded by a private burial. The family would like to thank Dr. Martens and all of the wonderful doctors and nurses and other staff involved in her care at Concordia Hospital. Your compassion and kindness are deeply appreciated. The family also thanks Tina Offereins, Betty Beens and Maps Buizer for their kindness and the excellent care they provided to mother over the past several years. Dear Kenn, Rodger, Bruce, and Family. We were so very sorry to hear the sad news of your dear mother's passing and pray that God will be your comfort during this difficult time of mourning. Your mother was a very thoughtful lady. We always appreciated her Christmas cards, and note of encouragement when illness struck our family. We shared her love for the four grandchildren we have in common. We also really enjoyed her delicious speculaas and Christmas baking that Kenn sometimes shared with us. With our condolences, Roman and Emily Snihurowych - Posted by: Emily and Roman Snihurowych () on: Feb 08, 2018
