OLGA JENTSCH (nee PHILLIP) Peacefully on February 2, 2018, Olga passed away at the age of 98. Olga was predeceased by her parents Tony and Molly Phillip, brothers Walter and Ned, stepfather Bill, and daughter Valerie. She is survived by Herbert, her husband of 70 years, daughters Lynne and Cheryl (Peter), granddaughters Jennifer (Chancey) and Jillian (Adam), great-grandchildren Alex, Lauren, Hunter and Eli; brother Fred, and many nieces and nephews. Olga was born and raised in Transcona, where she worked for many years as a linotype operator for The Transcona News. She also assisted Herb with his business, until they both retired. She was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber and Winnipeg Jets fan. Her special joy were her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank Jennifer Budge, the staff of Concordia Hospital and especially Dr. C. Pachal for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue on Friday, February 9 at 10:00 a.m., with a private interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
