DOREEN MAE THORLEIFSON It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen on January 24, 2018. Predeceased by her husband David, as well as her son Glen (Pillar), and her daughter Janelle (Lance Nelson). She is survived by her daughter Kristie (Chris Ritter), and her grandchildren Andy, Hayden, Daniella, Austen, Elise, Kellen, Jason and Christina. Doreen was a beautiful and elegant woman who loved to dance and had the most sparkling eyes when she smiled. Born and raised in Winnipeg she moved to Vancouver with her husband and three children in 1971. She had a long career in healthcare with the City of Richmond and was an active volunteer in retirement. Doreen will be greatly missed by family and friends. Doreen's ashes will be taken to Grand Beach, Manitoba for a private ceremony. Love you Mom - "keep dancing no like no one is watching".
