MARLENE N. GENDZELEVICH Peacefully, on February 14, 2018, Marlene passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Marlene was born in Whitemouth, Manitoba in 1940 and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. She found the love of her life Ken and they were married in 1961. She lost Ken early and had to bring up her two sons on her own. She worked hard to give them a good life. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth and by her parents Mary and Henry, and by her daughter-in-law Roberta-Lynn. She leaves her sons Dwayne (Joy) and Warren (Anne), and her grandchildren Travis and Caitlin. She also leaves her sisters Doreen (Arthur), Caroline (Bill), brothers Ken, Harvey (Shirley), Allan (Brenda), and numerous nieces and nephews. The family thanks the caregivers at Riverview Health Centre for their compassion during her illness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marlene's memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
