EVELYN GLADYS SCOTT (nee DICKENS) April 16, 1921 - February 18, 2018 Suddenly, but peacefully after a lengthy stay at Meadowood Manor, Evelyn passed away at the age of 96. She will be sadly missed by her three children, Fred Merrett (Marcia), Marilyn Anderson and Sandra Blackburn (Fred); stepsons David Scott (Joyce), Robert Scott, Edward Scott (Raylene) and Richard Scott (Karen); along with 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was a faithful soldier of The Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army Living Hope Community Church in her memory. We would like to thank the staff at Meadowood Manor for all the care they have given Evelyn over the years. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
