He is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Evelyn, his sister Bernice and stepson Robert. He is survived by his wife Joan, of 47 years, daughters Janis (Garth), Patricia, Karen (Scott), Cheryl (Rick), stepchildren Randy (Roz), Tracy (Cary), his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his sister Jean (Ted). Don worked for 30 years for Winnipeg Hydro as a meter reader. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with his wishes there will be no service.
