JOHN (JACK) THORARINSON After a lengthy illness, peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Grace Hospital, Jack passed away at the age of 65 years with his beloved spouse Jackie Boucher by his side. Remaining to cherish Jack's memory are Antoinette Snell; Doug (Charlene) Snell; Laurie (Wayne) Jackson; Jenn, Jerry, Haley and Matt and cousins, Marion (John) and Elaine. He was predeceased by his mother and father Ida and Thor Thorarinson and father-in-law Douglas Snell. The family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support they have shown during this difficult time. You can't possibly know how much we appreciate you all. Dr. George and staff at the Grace Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital provided remarkable and compassionate care for Jack. A special thank you is extended to Sharon from Legion #4, who was so kind during our visit to the Grace Emergency Department and many visits there. A Celebration of Life for Jack will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital or to the Grace Hospital Foundation.
