Glenn, Winna and Family: Darlene, Barb and all my 'Winnipeg' cousins: Deepest sympathy on the passing of Aunt Elsie. I have so many happy memories of the Smith family and travelling to Winnipeg and spending time at both Aunt Elsie's and Aunt Hedy's and spending time with all my cousins. I loved to hear all the sisters and brothers when they got together talking loudly and laughing even louder. Those are wonderful memories to have and I cherish them. The Rapp family is all together now again. Lorraine says uucchhh! and I say aachhh! but either way it's what I hear when I think of Aunt Elsie and I smile every time. God Bless.. - Posted by: Dorothy and John Schuweiler (neice) on: Mar 21, 2018

Glenn and family, Darlene, Barb and Allen, our sincere condolences on the passing of Aunt Elsie. I too have many fond memories of family visits over the years whether that was at the farm at Kipling or in Winnipeg. But my most fond memories are those from when I spent the summer of 1982 working in Winnipeg and living with Aunt Elsie, Uncle Harold and Glenn. Many fun times planning and participating in weekend trips to the lake and other activities through the week. Not sure why, but one memory still stands out – Glenn and I buying round steak to take to the lake to BBQ and thinking we were the smartest shoppers around, luckily Aunt Elsie marinated that steak for a week for us or we would have been pretty hungry! Take care all, love and condolences from Barry, Diane, Taryn and Kalen. - Posted by: Barry Rapp (Nephew) on: Feb 28, 2018

I have such fond memories of Aunt Elsie. I found her to be most like my dad with that silly Rapp sense of humour and her giggle. When I think of her, the first thing that comes to mind is when she’d always say “uucchhhh!!” In her German accent. It’s hard to believe that now the last of the Rapp siblings are all gone. I picture them all gathered around at a table up in heaven & no one being able to get a word in edgewise as they all had that gift of gab!!😁. My condolences to Glenn & family, and to Darlene & Barb and Allen. RIP Aunt Elsie ❤️ - Posted by: Lorraine (Niece) on: Feb 26, 2018
