A memorial service to celebrate Eleanor's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Lunch and reception will immediately follow the service, with interment taking place at a later date. My sympathies to Eleanor's family! I got to know Eleanor through our time at Autumn House - she as their Tenant Association President as well as the cook, and me as the Tenant Resource Coordinator. We had some great times planning events together. I always enjoyed her "joie de vivre" approach to life. Eleanor also joined our church (First Mennonite) and we had many good times there as well! Eleanor was a kind, loving person who had a deep faith in God and cherished her family whom she was very proud of!
