Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA MARY FARGHER (PAT) Patricia Mary Fargher peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 87. Mom leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory her sons, Robert, Peter, and Kenneth; her daughter Evelyn Buchanan and her grandchildren, Alannah, Brett, Ronald, Brian and Sean, along with many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald; her parents, Robert and Lillian Taubman. Mom was born in Douglas, Isle of Man on February 25, 1931 and in 1955 Mom made the long journey to Canada with her husband to begin a new life. Mom committed all her time and energies to being a supportive wife, mother and homemaker to her family. We are very grateful to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, whose supportive care of Mom and whose kindness and affection made Mom feel at home and well cared for. Cremation has taken place as she had requested and there will be no service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. We offer our condolences on the passing of your mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Pat was a vibrant woman and my memories of her at the lake were always ones of laughter and good times. I have a fond memory when I went into labor at the lake with my first child. My water broke and I was going into a frenzy. Pat ran to get some towels and calmed me down. She said 'off you go...everything is fine...there's no panic. I never forgot that. She will be missed.
