DORIS KITT Doris Kathleen Kitt, born Doris Kathleen Parkinson on April 8, 1924 in Georgetown, Guyana, passed away on March 4, 2018. Doris was mother to Ulney (Berty), Calvin (Faye), Charles, Wilken (Merva), Claire (Edward), George, Gladwyn (Gaile), Mervyn (Lorraine), Deborah (Sam) and Stephen, grandchildren, Tanis, Felona, Howard, Edward Jr., Cindy, Delroy, George Jr. the 3rd, Keslyn, Takesha, Tevon and 12 others, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, Ann and Sandra, many more nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by husband George, sisters Elaine, Yvonne and Mavice in Grenada, West Indies. Doris immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1981 where she attended Victory Church of God for over 30 years. She was a frequent visitor to many other churches including Miracle Apostolic Church and was well known, loved and respected by many inside and out of the church community. Viewing will be 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Victory Church of God, 397 Dalton at Mountain Avenue. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB.
