Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN OSTASH July 12, 1927 - March 6, 2018 Jean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Charleswood Care Centre. Lovingly remembered by children Peter (Valerie), Larry (Janice) and Betty (Bob Hykaway), daughter-in-law Beverly, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John, and son Garry. Mom loved to cook and spend time with her family. We are all going to miss her homemade chicken soup, perogies and cabbage rolls. "A mother holds her children's hands for a short time but holds their hearts forever". We love you and will miss you Mom. The family would like to thank the staff of Charleswood Care Centre. Service will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of your choice.
