PETER EDWARD THORSTEINSON Peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Peter Thorsteinson passed away at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn are his daughters Lori and Tamara; grandchildren Tristin, Alexis, Camilla, Ryan and Keira; his brother Calvin, and the mother of his children Rhonda. Peter was predeceased by his parents Pete and Mae Thorsteinson; brother Stuart, and son Tommy. Peter was always a mechanic. Starting at Kelly's garage and ending at Mandak, retiring in 2012. He had a passion for competition whether it was floor hockey, baseball, horseshoes and cards (especially cribbage). Many Wednesday afternoons were spent at the Army and Navy for their weekly tournament. Peter was also a trivia fanatic and music lover. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Lunch will follow at the Army Navy in Selkirk.
