FRED HRECHUK Fred Hrechuk passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 84. He was a lifelong resident of St. Andrews, living on the farm that he was born on. He loved the land and took great pleasure in growing vegetables for all of his friends, neighbours and family. Fred was a machinist and spent his working career at Standard Aero. He was a devoted Christian and was associated with the Ukrainian Dawn Bible Students and the Winnipeg Bible Students. He loved to study his Bible and talk to people about God's divine plan of the ages. Fred was predeceased by his father and mother, George and Pearl Hrechuk, and his brother Walter Hrechuk. He is survived by his sister Jennie Fenstad, his niece Sandra Fenstad-Sanche (husband Marty and children, Georgina and Joe), his nephew Andy Fenstad (Kim), his nephew David Hrechuk (Jean), and his niece Debbie Wiggins (husband Robert and son Rylan). Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment and reception will follow. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
